Too Much Snow on Opie Dilldock Pass – A failed backpacking trip

The days started out at 4am loading our packs and getting ready to spend the night at the Obsidian Falls near the PCT. We started off on White Branch Trail heading for the PCT over Opie Dilldock Pass, and thats where the day came to a halt. At least 3 feet of snow met us right after Four in One Cone.

The day may not have ended as we would’ve liked but it was fun with some amazing weather.

Even though we didn’t reach our goal I was a very happy girl!
